LEGGENDARIA - RIDING WITH THE HISTORY

Which name could be better for this bike?
“Leggendaria – Legendary” because Bottecchia made the history of the Italian bicycle, being the protagonist of both suffered memories and great successes of important names of cycling world, who could race on a bike like this. Champions as Gastone Nencini, Gianni Motta, Rudi Altig world champion in 1966, Giuseppe Saronni winner of the Giro d’Italia in 1979 and Greg LeMond who won the Tour de France with this bike in 1989.
We wanted to conjure up the big bicycles of the past using very similar material, but at the same time with technological improvements. The frame and the fork of Leggendaria are entirely hand made in Italy by Venetian artisans by using traditional methods for the welding and cut of the tubes.
Tubes are rigorously triple butted Columbus Spirit, while the back is made with double butted cromor tubes, assembled with special connections as the fork, which is assembled in a special brazed die-casting crown.
Sizes for this beautiful model are the traditional one from 47 to 64, totally handmade.
The BSA BB set and the fork are made with pantograph, in order to impress in an indelible way the sign of this amazing frame.
The bike is equipped with Campagnolo Potenza Silver 22s Gear with shifters.
